  1. 1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. 2. Add a handful of salt and a splash of olive oil to the boiling water.
  3. 3. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente (still slightly firm in the center).
  4. 4. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  5. 5. Rinse the broccoli under running water.
  6. 6. Divide the broccoli into small, bite-sized florets.
  7. 7. Add the broccoli florets to the boiling salted water for two minutes.
  8. 8. Remove the broccoli from the water using a slotted spoon.
  9. 9. Rinse the broccoli immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  10. 10. Peel the onion and rinse it.
  11. 11. Dice the onion into very small cubes.
  12. 12. Slice the sausages into rounds about one centimeter thick.
  13. 13. Heat a splash of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  14. 14. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until translucent.
  15. 15. Add the sausage slices to the pan.
  16. 16. Fry the sausage briefly until it takes on some color.
  17. 17. Add the drained broccoli to the pan.
  18. 18. Stir everything well for one minute until it is heated through.
  19. 19. Add the drained pasta to the pan.
  20. 20. Mix the pasta thoroughly with the sausage and broccoli.
  21. 21. Season the dish to taste with salt and black pepper.
  22. 22. Serve the dish immediately and sprinkle it with grated cheese.
