  2. 2. Cut the onion into thin strips.
  3. 3. Finely chop the garlic.
  4. 4. Heat the oil in a pot.
  5. 5. Sauté the onion strips and garlic in the hot oil until translucent.
  6. 6. Add the broccoli and cauliflower to the pot.
  7. 7. Steam the vegetables for a short moment.
  8. 8. Pour in the vegetable broth.
  9. 9. Let the dish simmer for 6 to 8 minutes.
  10. 10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.
  12. 12. Drain the pasta.
  13. 13. Let the pasta drain well.
  14. 14. Mix the pasta with the vegetables.
  15. 15. Plate the dish.
  16. 16. Grate fresh Parmesan cheese over the top.
