🍝 Creamy Vegetable Bake with Cheese Crust

Ingredients
- 450 g mixed frozen vegetables (1 packet)
- 100 g ham
- 10 lasagna sheets (no pre-cooking)
- 50 g butter
- 50 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- nutmeg
- 50 g grated Gouda
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- 1. Let the frozen vegetables thaw.
- 2. Cut the ham into small cubes.
- 3. Sauté the ham cubes briefly in the pan.
- 4. Add the thawed vegetables to the pan.
- 5. Sauté the vegetables together with the ham briefly.
- 6. Mix the ham and vegetable mixture well.
- 7. Melt the butter in a pot.
- 8. Stir the flour into the melted butter.
- 9. Cook the butter-flour mixture briefly until light.
- 10. Pour the milk into the pot.
- 11. Pour the vegetable broth into the pot.
- 12. Whisk the sauce until smooth.
- 13. Bring the sauce to a boil.
- 14. Simmer the sauce on low heat.
- 15. Stir the sauce constantly while simmering.
- 16. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.
- 17. Season the sauce with salt.
- 18. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 19. Season the sauce with grated nutmeg.
- 20. Grease a baking dish.
- 21. Put some sauce into the greased baking dish.
- 22. Place a layer of lasagna sheets in the dish.
- 23. Spread one-third of the vegetable mixture over the lasagna sheets.
- 24. Pour sauce over the vegetable layer.
- 25. Place another layer of lasagna sheets on top.
- 26. Spread another third of the vegetable mixture.
- 27. Pour more sauce over it.
- 28. Place the final layer of lasagna sheets on top.
- 29. Cover the top layer with the remaining sauce.
- 30. Sprinkle the bake with cheese.
- 31. Distribute small pieces of butter on the cheese.
- 32. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 33. Cover the baking dish.
- 34. Bake the bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- 35. Remove the cover from the bake.
- 36. Bake the bake for another 15 minutes.
- 37. Bake the bake until golden brown.
- 38. Serve the bake hot.
