🍽️ Classic Pasta Bake in a Jar

Ingredients
- 500 g Spaghetti
- Salt
- 2 stalks Celery
- 200 ml Heavy cream
- 100 ml Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp Grated cheese (e.g. Parmesan)
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Butter (for the molds)
- Chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Grease four heatproof ramekins or jars with a little butter.
- 3. Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 4. Immediately shock the pasta with cold water and let it drain.
- 5. Wash the celery and remove any tough fibers.
- 6. Cut the celery into thin strips about 6 cm long.
- 7. Blanch the celery strips for 3 to 4 minutes in salted water (cook briefly in boiling water).
- 8. Shock the celery with cold water as well.
- 9. Place the drained pasta and celery into the prepared jars.
- 10. Whisk together the cream, milk, eggs, crème fraîche, and cheese in a bowl.
- 11. Season the mixture with a little salt and pepper.
- 12. Pour the sauce evenly over the pasta in the jars.
- 13. Bake the casseroles in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden.
- 14. Serve the pasta bake garnished with fresh chives.
