🍝 Skillet Dish with Chicken, Mushrooms, and Noodles

Ingredients
- 150 g Shiitake mushrooms (or oyster mushrooms)
- 2 spring onions
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 chicken breast fillet (120 g)
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 250 g mie noodles (or other Asian noodles)
Instructions
- 1. Wipe the mushrooms with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Slice the mushrooms into thick pieces.
- 3. Wash the spring onions.
- 4. Remove the root ends and wilted leaves from the spring onions.
- 5. Slice the tender green end of the spring onions into thin rings.
- 6. Wash the bell pepper.
- 7. Cut the bell pepper in half.
- 8. Remove the seeds and white interior of the bell pepper.
- 9. Dice the bell pepper flesh into small cubes.
- 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 11. Chop the garlic finely.
- 12. Rinse the chicken breast under cold water.
- 13. Pat the chicken breast dry.
- 14. Slice the chicken breast across the grain into very thin strips.
- 15. Heat the oil in the skillet.
- 16. Fry the meat strips, mushrooms, onions, and garlic over medium heat.
- 17. Stir frequently while doing so.
- 18. Fry the mixture for about 3 minutes.
- 19. Season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 20. Keep the mixture warm under a lid.
- 21. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
- 22. Drain the noodles.
- 23. Let the noodles drain well.
- 24. Mix the noodles with the mushroom, vegetable, and chicken mixture.
- 25. Serve the dish on pre-warmed plates.
