🍽️ Nizza Salad

Ingredients
- 1 handful mixed herbs (e.g. basil, chives, parsley)
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove garlic
- 60 ml white balsamic vinegar
- 40 ml olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 400 g new potatoes
- 4 eggs
- 300 g green beans
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 g black olives (pitted)
- 2 tbsp capers
- 50 g anchovy fillets (in oil)
- 800 g tuna fillet
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the herbs under running water.
- 2. Shake the herbs dry.
- 3. Finely chop the herbs.
- 4. Peel the shallot.
- 5. Peel the garlic clove.
- 6. Finely chop the shallot.
- 7. Press the garlic directly into the vinegar.
- 8. Add the chopped shallot to the vinegar.
- 9. Stir in the oil.
- 10. Season the dressing with salt and pepper.
- 11. Wash the potatoes.
- 12. Bring salted water to a boil.
- 13. Cook the potatoes in the salted water for about 15 minutes.
- 14. Prick the eggs with a needle to prevent the shell from cracking.
- 15. Cook the eggs for about 10 minutes.
- 16. Wash the beans.
- 17. Remove the ends and strings of the beans.
- 18. Cut the beans into pieces about 5 centimeters long.
- 19. Cook the beans in the salted water for about 8 minutes.
- 20. Shock the cooked potatoes, eggs, and beans with cold water.
- 21. Let the potatoes cool down completely.
- 22. Cut the cooled potatoes into pieces.
- 23. Peel the cooked eggs.
- 24. Quarter the peeled eggs.
- 25. Wash the tomatoes.
- 26. Halve the tomatoes.
- 27. Drain the olives.
- 28. Drain the capers.
- 29. Drain the anchovies.
- 30. Mix all salad ingredients with the dressing.
- 31. Let the salad marinate for about 20 minutes.
- 32. Wash the tuna.
- 33. Pat the tuna dry with kitchen paper.
- 34. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 35. Fry the tuna for 1 minute on each side.
- 36. Season the tuna with salt and pepper while frying.
- 37. Remove the tuna from the pan.
- 38. Let the tuna cool down briefly.
- 39. Cut the tuna into strips.
- 40. Arrange the salad in bowls.
- 41. Place the tuna strips on the salad.
- 42. Serve the salad.
