🍽️ New Potatoes with Garlic

Ingredients
- 12 small new potatoes
- 8 fresh garlic cloves
- 1 handful parsley
- 40 g butter
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel off the skin with a knife if it is very thick.
- 3. Steam the potatoes in a steamer or colander over boiling water.
- 4. Let them steam for about 25 minutes until tender.
- 5. Peel the garlic cloves while the potatoes are steaming.
- 6. Lightly crush half of the cloves with the flat side of a knife.
- 7. Finely chop the remaining garlic cloves.
- 8. Rinse the parsley under cold water.
- 9. Shake off excess water from the parsley.
- 10. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 11. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 12. Heat the butter in a large frying pan.
- 13. Sauté the whole and chopped garlic until lightly golden brown.
- 14. Add the steamed potatoes to the pan.
- 15. Gently fold in the parsley with the potatoes.
- 16. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
- 17. Serve the potatoes immediately while warm.
