🍽️ Delicate Nectarine Rose Salad

Ingredients
- 2 Nectarines
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
- 100 ml Water
- 60 g Sugar
- Rose water
- 0.5 Lime (use the zest)
- 1 tbsp Pistachio nuts (unsalted, roughly chopped)
- Organic rose petals (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the nectarines under running water.
- 2. Cut the fruits in half and remove the pit.
- 3. Cut the flesh into very thin, fine strips.
- 4. Place the nectarine strips into a large bowl.
- 5. Bring water and sugar to a boil in a pot.
- 6. Let the mixture simmer gently for about 4 minutes.
- 7. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- 8. Grate the fine outer peel (zest) of the limes and add it to the liquid.
- 9. Flavor the marinade mixture with a splash of rose water.
- 10. Pour the warm marinade evenly over the nectarines in the bowl.
- 11. Cover the bowl and let the fruits marinate for at least 1 hour.
- 12. Artfully arrange the marinated nectarines on the serving plates.
- 13. Place a dollop of whipped cream on top of the fruit.
- 14. Sprinkle a few edible rose petals over the salad.
- 15. Top everything with chopped pistachios.
- 16. Serve the salad immediately.
