Ingredients
- 200 g Basmati rice
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 100 g shrimp, deveined and peeled (except for the tail segment)
- 0.5 stalk leek
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 chili pepper
- 4 tbsp oil
- soy sauce
- fish sauce
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cook the rice according to the package instructions or steam it.
- 2. Wash the chicken and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken into thin strips.
- 4. Wash the leek and remove the tough ends.
- 5. Cut the leek into strips about 8 centimeters long and thin.
- 6. Peel the garlic and chop it very finely.
- 7. Wash the chili pepper and cut it in half lengthwise.
- 8. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 9. Cut the chili pepper into thin strips as well.
- 10. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 11. Add the leek, garlic, and chili to the hot pan.
- 12. Sauté the vegetables briefly until fragrant.
- 13. Add the chicken and shrimp to the pan.
- 14. Fry the ingredients while stirring constantly for about 2 minutes.
- 15. Add the cooked rice to the pan.
- 16. Finish frying everything together for about 4 minutes.
- 17. Season the dish with soy sauce and fish sauce to taste.
- 18. Serve the Nasi Goreng immediately.
