🍰 Classic Bundt Cake

Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
- 6 Eggs
- 300 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking Powder
- 0.125 l Milk
- 1 Lime (use the juice)
- 60 g Citron
- 60 g Candied Orange Peel
- Butter (for the pan)
- Breadcrumbs (for the pan)
- 3 tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp finely chopped Citron
Instructions
- 1. Grease the cake pan generously with butter or margarine.
- 2. Dust the greased pan with breadcrumbs.
- 3. Beat the butter until creamy.
- 4. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar.
- 5. Mix the mixture until it is fluffy.
- 6. Add the eggs one by one.
- 7. Stir in the eggs until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- 8. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- 9. Sift a portion of the flour mixture into the butter mixture.
- 10. Gently fold in the flour mixture.
- 11. Stir in 4 tablespoons of milk.
- 12. Sift the remaining flour-baking powder mix over the mixture.
- 13. Work everything into a smooth dough.
- 14. Fold in the lime juice.
- 15. Fold in the finely chopped citron and orange peel.
- 16. Fill the batter into the prepared pan.
- 17. Smooth the surface.
- 18. Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced for about 1 hour.
- 19. Mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice to form a thick glaze.
- 20. Drizzle the glaze loosely over the cooled cake.
- 21. Sprinkle the cake with citron.
- 22. Let the glaze set completely.
