Ingredients
- 200 g cornmeal
- 160 g spelt flour Type 1050
- 10 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 0.5 tsp hot paprika powder
- chili powder
Instructions
- 1. Put 150 grams of spelt flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, half a teaspoon of salt, and 200 milliliters of water into a bowl.
- 2. Work the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- 4. If the dough seems too dry, add a little more water if necessary.
- 5. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
- 6. Shape each portion into a ball.
- 7. Dust a work surface with a little flour.
- 8. Roll each dough ball on the floured surface into a paper-thin flatbread.
- 9. Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- 10. Finish baking the dough flatbreads one by one in the pan.
- 11. Cut the finished dough flatbreads into triangles.
- 12. Mix the remaining oil with 1 teaspoon of salt, paprika powder, and chili powder to your taste.
- 13. Brush the nachos with this marinade.
- 14. Place the nachos on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 15. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (180 degrees Celsius for fan-assisted or gas mark 3).
- 16. Bake the nachos in the preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes until crispy.
