🍽️ Tuna Stuffed Shell Pasta

Ingredients
- 24 shell pasta
- salt
- 150 g tuna can (in its own juice)
- 1 tsp capers
- 20 g dried tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (oregano and parsley)
- salt
- lemon juice
- cayenne pepper
- 24 walnut kernels
- herbs (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- 2. Add the shell pasta to the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the pasta al dente (firm to the bite) according to the package instructions.
- 4. Drain the pasta and rinse it briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 5. Let the pasta drain well in a colander.
- 6. Open the can of tuna and let it drain well in a sieve.
- 7. Place the drained tuna, capers, tomatoes, peeled garlic, mayonnaise, and crème fraîche into a blender.
- 8. Blend the mixture until it is slightly chunky.
- 9. Fold the herbs into the tuna mixture.
- 10. Season the filling with salt, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper.
- 11. Carefully fill the pasta shells with the tuna mixture.
- 12. Sprinkle the stuffed pasta with walnut kernels.
- 13. Garnish the dish with fresh herbs.
- 14. Serve the pasta immediately.
