🍰 Cheerful Easter Muffins

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 75 ml neutral oil
- 100 g sour cream
- 200 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- pink food coloring
- green sugar writing
- colorful sugar eggs
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Use the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Place the paper liners into the individual cups of the muffin tin.
- 3. Take a bowl and whisk the egg with the oil until they are well combined.
- 4. Add the sour cream to the egg-oil mixture and stir it in.
- 5. Take a second bowl and mix the flour with the sugar.
- 6. Add the baking powder and a pinch of salt to the second bowl and stir everything well.
- 7. Gently fold the dry flour mixture under the liquid cream-egg mixture.
- 8. Fill the finished batter evenly into the prepared liners.
- 9. Place the tray on the middle rack and bake the muffins for about 20 minutes.
- 10. Check for doneness by inserting a wooden skewer into the center of a muffin. If it comes out clean, they are done.
- 11. Remove the muffins from the oven and place them on a wire rack to cool down.
- 12. Mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and food coloring to form a thick, smooth icing.
- 13. Spread this icing over the completely cooled muffins.
- 14. Let the icing dry for a short moment before you continue.
- 15. Draw grass on the surface of the muffins using the green sugar writing gel.
- 16. Attach the sugar eggs to the muffins using a small dollop of icing.
- 17. Let the decoration dry completely before serving the muffins.
