🍳 Crunchy Muesli Bars with Sunflower Seeds

Ingredients
- 1 Apple
- 1 Carrot
- 50 g Almonds
- 200 g Dried Plums
- 150 g Oat Flakes
- 100 g Raisins
- 125 g Sunflower Seeds
- 150 g Flour
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 6 Tbsp Rosehip Purée
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the apple and the carrot.
- 2. Remove the core from the apple and peel the carrot.
- 3. Grate the apple and the carrot finely.
- 4. Squeeze the grated fruit and vegetables slightly to remove excess liquid.
- 5. Put the almonds, dried plums, oat flakes, and raisins into a blender.
- 6. Chop these ingredients into small pieces.
- 7. Add the chopped mixture, the grated apple, the grated carrot, 100 grams of sunflower seeds, the flour, and the honey into a large bowl.
- 8. Work all ingredients together with your hands to form a uniform dough.
- 9. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 10. Spread the dough evenly on the baking paper.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
- 12. Bake the bars in the oven for 15 minutes.
- 13. Stir the rosehip puree with a small amount of water until smooth.
- 14. Take the tray out of the oven and spread the rosehip mixture evenly over the dough.
- 15. Sprinkle the surface with the remaining sunflower seeds.
- 16. Put the tray back in the oven and bake the bars for another 20 minutes.
- 17. Let the bars cool down completely.
- 18. Cut the cooled bars into individual portions.
- 19. Store the muesli bars in a cool, dry, and dark place.
