  4. 4. Cut the cold butter into small cubes.
  5. 5. Distribute the butter pieces around the well.
  6. 6. Place the egg in the center of the well.
  7. 7. Add about two tablespoons of lukewarm water.
  8. 8. Chop all ingredients roughly with a knife until small crumbs form.
  9. 9. Knead the crumbs quickly by hand into a smooth dough.
  10. 10. Shape the dough into a ball.
  11. 11. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
  12. 12. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about two hours.
  13. 13. Place the dough between two sheets of baking paper.
  14. 14. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about six to seven millimeters.
  15. 15. Cut out various shapes using cookie cutters as desired.
  16. 16. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  17. 17. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  18. 18. Bake the cookies in the oven for about 15 minutes.
  19. 19. Mix powdered sugar with egg white to make a glaze.
  20. 20. Divide the glaze into several small portions.
  21. 21. Color each portion with a different food coloring.
  22. 22. Brush the cooled cookies with the colored glaze.
  23. 23. Sprinkle the cookies immediately with sugar pearls and sprinkles.
