🍽️ Grilled Vegetables with Mozzarella

Ingredients
- 2 Zucchini
- 2 Tomatoes
- 2 Mozzarella balls (sliced)
- 2 Garlic cloves
- Sea salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 4 sprigs Basil
- Basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the zucchini thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the hard ends of the zucchini.
- 3. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into slices about 1 cm thick.
- 4. Wash the tomatoes.
- 5. Remove the hard stem area from the tomatoes.
- 6. Slice the tomatoes into slices about 2 cm thick.
- 7. Peel the garlic.
- 8. Halve the garlic cloves.
- 9. Place the garlic halves, basil stems, and cut vegetables in a shallow baking dish.
- 10. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 11. Drizzle the vegetables generously with olive oil.
- 12. Cover the dish.
- 13. Let the vegetables marinate for about 2 hours.
- 14. Take the vegetables out of the marinade.
- 15. Preheat the grill.
- 16. Place the vegetables on the hot grill.
- 17. Grill the vegetables for about 3 to 4 minutes on one side.
- 18. Turn the vegetables.
- 19. Grill the vegetables for another 3 to 4 minutes on the other side.
- 20. Brush the vegetables with the marinade repeatedly while grilling.
- 21. Place the mozzarella on the grilled vegetables.
- 22. Plate the dish.
- 23. Sprinkle the dish with fresh basil leaves.
- 24. Serve the dish immediately.
