🍽️ Crispy Mozzarella and Ham Rolls

Ingredients
- 125 g Mozzarella (1 ball)
- 60 g Parma ham (thick slice, without fat)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 1 tsp chopped fresh oregano
- pepper (from the mill)
- nutmeg
- 2 elongated Italian rolls (Panini)
- 2 tbsp butter
- aluminum foil
Instructions
- 1. Drain the mozzarella and cut it into small cubes.
- 2. Cut the ham into small cubes as well.
- 3. Mix the mozzarella and ham with the parsley and oregano.
- 4. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and freshly grated nutmeg.
- 5. Slice the rolls lengthwise.
- 6. Hollow out the bottom halves, leaving a border of about 1 cm.
- 7. Spread the rolls with butter.
- 8. Fill the rolls with the mozzarella mixture.
- 9. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
- 10. Wrap the rolls in aluminum foil.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 12. Bake the rolls for 10 minutes in the center of the oven.
- 13. Remove the rolls from the foil.
- 14. Serve the rolls immediately.
