🍽️ Mozzarella balls wrapped in Parma ham with tomatoes and rocket

Ingredients
- 4 balls Mozzarella (approx. 500 g)
- 8 slices Parma Ham
- Chive
- 250 g Cherry Tomatoes
- 1 handful Arugula
- 2 tbsp white Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Cayenne Pepper
- Colored Pepper
- Basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Let the mozzarella drain well in a sieve.
- 2. Cut the mozzarella balls in half.
- 3. Fold the thin Parma ham slices slightly.
- 4. Wrap the ham pieces around the mozzarella halves.
- 5. Cut the chive stems into short pieces.
- 6. Blanch the chive pieces briefly in boiling water.
- 7. Use the warm chive pieces to tie the ham to the mozzarella balls.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 9. Cut the tomatoes in half.
- 10. Wash the rocket (arugula).
- 11. Remove thick stems or wilted leaves from the rocket.
- 12. Shake the rocket dry.
- 13. Place the tomato halves, rocket, and ham-mozzarella balls on a platter.
- 14. Whisk the vinegar with the lemon juice.
- 15. Stir the olive oil into the vinegar-lemon mixture.
- 16. Season the sauce with salt, sugar, and cayenne pepper.
- 17. Drizzle the sauce over the plated dish.
- 18. Sprinkle ground colored pepper over it.
- 19. Garnish the dish with fresh basil leaves.
- 20. Serve the dish immediately.
