🍽️ Fruity Cranberry Jam

Ingredients
- 500 g fresh cranberries
- 500 g frozen sour cherries, pitted
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the cranberries under running water.
- 2. Let the sour cherries thaw at room temperature.
- 3. Add the cranberries and the thawed sour cherries to a large bowl.
- 4. Mix the fruit well with the pectin sugar.
- 5. Let the mixture sit for about two hours.
- 6. Stir the mixture occasionally during this time.
- 7. Then puree the fruit mixture finely, for example using a hand blender.
- 8. Heat the mixture in a pot while stirring constantly.
- 9. Bring the jam to a boil.
- 10. Let the jam boil vigorously for four minutes.
- 11. Fill the hot jam to the brim into the prepared screw-top jars.
- 12. Seal the jars tightly with the lids.
- 13. Turn the sealed jars upside down for ten minutes.
- 14. Then turn the jars right side up and let them cool down completely.
