  2. 2. Add the fresh mint leaves to the glass.
  3. 3. Gently press the mint with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the flavors.
  4. 4. Pour the rum into the glass.
  5. 5. Fill the glass to the brim with ice cubes.
  6. 6. Top up the drink with sparkling mineral water.
  7. 7. Stir the mixture briefly and gently.
  8. 8. Garnish the mojito with a sprig of fresh mint.
  9. 9. Insert a drinking straw and serve the drink immediately.
