🍰 Crunchy Poppy Seed Rolls

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g butter (in small pieces)
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet poppy seed filling (ready-made product)
Instructions
- 1. Take all ingredients except the poppy seed filling and knead them quickly into a smooth dough.
- 2. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
- 4. Place the foil in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- 5. Dust a work surface with flour.
- 6. Take the dough out of the fridge and roll it out on the floured surface to a thickness of about 5 millimeters.
- 7. Shape the dough into an elongated rectangle.
- 8. Spread the poppy seed baking mixture evenly over the dough.
- 9. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a roll.
- 10. Cut the roll into slices about 5 millimeters thick.
- 11. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 13. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes until golden yellow.
- 14. Take the rolls out of the oven.
- 15. Let the rolls cool down completely.
