  1. 1. Take all ingredients except the poppy seed filling and knead them quickly into a smooth dough.
  2. 2. Shape the dough into a ball.
  3. 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
  4. 4. Place the foil in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Dust a work surface with flour.
  6. 6. Take the dough out of the fridge and roll it out on the floured surface to a thickness of about 5 millimeters.
  7. 7. Shape the dough into an elongated rectangle.
  8. 8. Spread the poppy seed baking mixture evenly over the dough.
  9. 9. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a roll.
  10. 10. Cut the roll into slices about 5 millimeters thick.
  11. 11. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  12. 12. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  13. 13. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes until golden yellow.
  14. 14. Take the rolls out of the oven.
  15. 15. Let the rolls cool down completely.
