🍰 Poppy Seed Muffins with Orange

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 0.5 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch baking soda
- 2 oranges
- 250 g poppy seed baking mix
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 5 tbsp oil
- 200 g sour cream
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- 1. Place paper liners into the muffin tin.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 3. Mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a bowl.
- 4. Peel the oranges and remove the white pith.
- 5. Cut out the orange segments between the membranes.
- 6. Chop the orange segments into small pieces.
- 7. Stir poppy seeds, sugar, salt, oil, and sour cream together.
- 8. Add the eggs and mix them in.
- 9. Quickly stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture.
- 10. Gently fold the orange pieces into the batter.
- 11. Distribute the batter evenly among the paper liners.
- 12. Bake the muffins on the middle rack for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 13. Let the muffins cool on a wire rack.
- 14. Serve the muffins once they have cooled down.
