🍰 Crunchy Poppy Seed Cookies

Ingredients
- 300 g Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 200 g Butter (in cubes)
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 125 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1 packet Poppy seed filling (ready-made product)
Instructions
- 1. Take all ingredients except the poppy seed filling and knead them quickly into a smooth dough.
- 2. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
- 4. Place the foil in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- 5. Dust a work surface with flour.
- 6. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to a thickness of about 5 millimeters into an elongated rectangle.
- 7. Spread the poppy seed baking mixture evenly over the dough surface.
- 8. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a roll.
- 9. Cut the roll into slices about 5 millimeters thick.
- 10. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 12. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes until golden yellow.
- 13. Take the cookies out of the oven.
- 14. Let the cookies cool down completely.
