  2. 2. Shape the dough into a ball.
  3. 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
  4. 4. Place the foil in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Dust a work surface with flour.
  6. 6. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to a thickness of about 5 millimeters into an elongated rectangle.
  7. 7. Spread the poppy seed baking mixture evenly over the dough surface.
  8. 8. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a roll.
  9. 9. Cut the roll into slices about 5 millimeters thick.
  10. 10. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  11. 11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  12. 12. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes until golden yellow.
