Ingredients
- 500 g carrots
- 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
- pepper
- fresh parsley (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the carrots and the onion.
- 2. Slice the carrots into thin rounds.
- 3. Dice the onion into fine cubes.
- 4. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
- 5. Add the onion cubes to the pan.
- 6. Sauté the onions until they are translucent.
- 7. Stir the carrot slices into the onions.
- 8. Cover the frying pan.
- 9. Steam the vegetables for 5 to 7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 10. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 11. Serve the carrot dish garnished with parsley.
