🥗 Tender Carrots with Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients
- 800 g carrots
- 30 g butter
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp ground poppy seeds
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 sprigs parsley
- 2 sprigs basil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the carrots thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the carrots lengthwise into four strips.
- 3. Cut the strips into pieces about 5 centimeters long.
- 4. Heat a pan and melt the butter in it.
- 5. Add the carrot pieces to the pan.
- 6. Sauté the carrots briefly until they are fragrant.
- 7. Pour in 2 to 3 tablespoons of water.
- 8. Place the lid on the pan.
- 9. Cook the carrots over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- 10. Stir the honey into the warm carrots.
- 11. Mix the poppy seeds with the carrots.
- 12. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 13. Wash the fresh herbs under running water.
- 14. Shake the herbs dry.
- 15. Pluck the small leaves from the stems.
- 16. Let the carrots cool down slightly.
- 17. Gently fold the herbs into the carrot salad mix.
- 18. Serve the salad on plates.
