  1. 1. Wash the carrots thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Remove the green tops and the ends of the carrots.
  3. 3. Cut the carrots into large pieces so they fit better into the juicer.
  4. 4. Cut the mandarins and the lime each in half.
  5. 5. Squeeze the juice from the mandarin halves into a bowl.
  6. 6. Squeeze the juice from the lime halves into the same bowl.
  7. 7. Hold the fig under lukewarm water and rinse it gently.
  8. 8. Dry the fig with a kitchen towel.
  9. 9. Slice the fig into very thin slices.
  10. 10. Put the prepared carrot pieces into the juicer.
  11. 11. Juice the carrots and catch the juice in a container.
  12. 12. Crush the ice cubes in an ice crusher or blender into fine ice.
  13. 13. Put the crushed ice into a large drinking glass.
  14. 14. Pour the carrot juice over the ice.
  15. 15. Pour the mandarin and lime juice in as well.
  16. 16. Stir the mixture well with a spoon.
  17. 17. Add the thin fig slices to the drink.
  18. 18. Drink the juice immediately so it tastes freshest.
