  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the carrot under warm water.
  2. 2. Trim off the hard ends, but do not peel the carrot if possible.
  3. 3. Grate the carrot finely using a box grater.
  4. 4. Place the grated carrots and the milk into a pot.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. 6. Stir in the semolina using a whisk.
  7. 7. Let the porridge swell over low heat.
  8. 8. Stir continuously while doing so.
  9. 9. Cook the porridge for 3 minutes.
  10. 10. Puree the porridge with a hand blender if desired.
  11. 11. Let the porridge cool down slightly.
