🍰 Carrot Cream on Whole Grain Bread

Ingredients
- 2 Carrots
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 0.5 bunch Chives
- 0.5 bunch Parsley
- 150 g Sour Cream
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
- Pepper from the mill
- Curry Powder
- 4 slices Fine Whole Grain Bread
- 1 tbsp Chopped Walnuts
Instructions
- 1. Wash the carrots thoroughly.
- 2. Peel the carrots.
- 3. Grate the carrots coarsely using a vegetable grater.
- 4. Mix the grated carrots with the lemon juice.
- 5. Wash the fresh herbs.
- 6. Shake the herbs dry.
- 7. Cut the chives into small rings.
- 8. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 9. Take the sour cream.
- 10. Stir the sour cream with half of the grated carrots.
- 11. Add half of the prepared herbs to the cream mixture.
- 12. Season the cream with salt.
- 13. Season the cream with pepper.
- 14. Season the cream with curry powder.
- 15. Spread the finished carrot cream onto the bread slices.
- 16. Garnish the bread with the remaining grated carrots.
- 17. Sprinkle the remaining herbs over the bread.
- 18. Sprinkle the chopped walnut kernels over the bread.
