  2. 2. Crush walnuts in a bag into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.
  3. 3. Spread the walnut crumbs evenly over the bread slice.
  4. 4. Wash the carrot under running water.
  5. 5. Peel the carrot thinly with a vegetable peeler.
  6. 6. Trim the sides of the carrot so it forms an even stick shape.
  7. 7. Place the carrot stick on the long edge of the bread surface.
  8. 8. Roll the bread tightly around the carrot.
  9. 9. Wrap the roll tightly in baking paper.
  10. 10. Tie the ends of the paper together with string.
