🍽️ Crisp Mint Jelly

Ingredients
- 125 g mint
- 375 ml cider
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 60 ml peppermint liqueur
- 675 g jam sugar (1:1)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the mint leaves under running water.
- 2. Remove any wilted or damaged leaves.
- 3. Set aside a few nice, intact leaves for decoration.
- 4. Pour 125 milliliters of boiling water over the remaining mint.
- 5. Let the mixture steep for about 15 minutes.
- 6. Strain the liquid into a pot through a fine sieve.
- 7. Add apple wine, lemon juice, and jam sugar.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 9. Let the mixture bubble vigorously for 4 minutes.
- 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 11. Stir in the mint liqueur.
- 12. Rinse jars with hot water beforehand.
- 13. Fill the hot mixture immediately into the hot jars.
- 14. Place a few of the reserved mint leaves into each jar.
- 15. Seal the jars.
- 16. Turn the jars upside down to cool.
- 17. Turn the jars upright again after about 10 minutes.
- 18. Let the jars cool completely.
