🍽️ Creamy Barley Soup with Milk

Ingredients
- 400 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Sea salt
- 180 g Barley groats (or pearled barley)
- 2 tsp dried Oregano
- 2 sprigs fresh Oregano
Instructions
- 1. Pour the milk, about 800 milliliters of water, the oil, and a pinch of salt into a pot and bring to a boil. Stir in the barley and let the soup simmer on low heat for 20 to 25 minutes. Then add the dried oregano and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 2. Season the soup to taste with salt and serve it on plates. Rinse the fresh oregano under running water, pluck the leaves from the stems, and sprinkle them over the finished soup.
