  1. 1. Pour the milk into a large microwave-safe bowl.
  2. 2. Stir the rice pudding mix into the milk.
  3. 3. Cover the bowl.
  4. 4. Cook the rice in the microwave at 600 watts for 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Peel the kiwi in the meantime.
  6. 6. Cut the kiwi into coarse cubes.
  7. 7. Wash the gooseberries thoroughly.
  8. 8. Trim the ends off the gooseberries.
  9. 9. Halve the gooseberries.
  10. 10. Place the diced kiwi and halved gooseberries into a tall container.
  11. 11. Puree the fruit roughly with a hand blender.
  12. 12. Heat a non-stick pan.
  13. 13. Toast the sliced almonds in the pan until golden brown.
  14. 14. Stir the honey into the cooked rice pudding.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the warm or cold rice pudding with the toasted almond slices.
  16. 16. Serve the rice pudding alongside the kiwi sauce.
