Ingredients
- 1 Galia melon
- lemons
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- 1. Cut the melon in half.
- 2. Remove the flesh from the rind and discard all seeds.
- 3. Dice the fruit flesh into small cubes.
- 4. Place the melon cubes, lemon juice, and powdered sugar into a blender.
- 5. Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth, fine puree.
- 6. Whip the egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
- 7. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the melon puree.
- 8. Stir the mixture well once more to ensure everything is evenly combined.
- 9. Pour the mixture into a wide metal bowl.
- 10. Place the bowl into your ice cream maker.
- 11. Freeze the mixture for about 4 hours.
- 12. Stir the mixture repeatedly during the freezing process.
- 13. Spoon the finished sorbet into small glasses.
- 14. Serve the melon sorbet immediately.
