🍽️ Fresh salsa made from Galia melon

Ingredients
- 1 Galia melon
- 2 jalapeños (red and green)
- 1 unpeeled lime
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped basil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the Galia melon in half.
- 2. Remove the seeds.
- 3. Peel the melon.
- 4. Cut the flesh into fine cubes.
- 5. Wash the jalapeño chilies.
- 6. Slice the green jalapeño into rings.
- 7. Finely chop the red jalapeño.
- 8. Grate the lime zest.
- 9. Squeeze the lime juice.
- 10. Add the sugar and 150 milliliters of water to a pot.
- 11. Heat the mixture until it boils.
- 12. Let the liquid simmer gently for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 13. Add the chili peppers and the basil.
- 14. Pour the hot mixture over the melon cubes.
- 15. Mix everything well.
- 16. Let the salsa cool down.
