🍽️ Refreshing Melon and Strawberry Salad

Ingredients
- 1.5 honeydew melons
- 150 g strawberries
- 150 g raspberries
- juice of one lemon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp dry white wine
- lemon balm
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the strawberries and raspberries under running water.
- 2. Remove the green stems and any unripe spots from the berries.
- 3. Gently pat the berries dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Cut the half melon in half lengthwise.
- 5. Remove the seeds from the flesh.
- 6. Use a melon baller to scoop out nice balls from the melon flesh.
- 7. Put the lemon juice, wine, and sugar into a large bowl.
- 8. Stir the mixture vigorously until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- 9. Add the melon balls and the prepared berries to the liquid.
- 10. Gently mix everything so that the fruits are well coated with the sauce.
- 11. Let the salad sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 12. Mark the center of the remaining melon halves with a knife.
- 13. Insert a sharp, pointed knife along the mark down to the center.
- 14. Cut the melon into two halves and remove the seeds in the process.
- 15. Fill the prepared melon-berry mixture into the hollowed-out melon halves.
- 16. Garnish the salad fresh with leaves of lemon balm.
