  1. 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan.
  3. 3. Fry the shrimp in it for one to two minutes until golden brown.
  4. 4. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Remove the pan from the heat and set the shrimp aside.
  6. 6. Cut out four small balls from the melon flesh.
  7. 7. Thread the melon balls, fresh Thai basil leaves, and the fried shrimp alternately onto wooden skewers.
  8. 8. Cut the remaining melon into coarse chunks.
  9. 9. Peel one clove of garlic and a piece of ginger.
  10. 10. Put the melon chunks, the garlic clove, the ginger, ice cubes, the broth, the remaining oil, salt, chili, and lime juice into a blender.
