🍽️ Refreshing Melon Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 350 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 small cantaloupe melon
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- 4 basil leaves
Instructions
- 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- 2. Dip the cherry tomatoes into the boiling water for about 30 seconds.
- 3. Rinse the tomatoes immediately under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Peel the loosened skin off the tomatoes.
- 5. Wash the chili pepper thoroughly.
- 6. Remove the stem and seeds from the chili.
- 7. Finely chop the chili pepper.
- 8. Peel the melon.
- 9. Cut the melon in half.
- 10. Remove the seeds from the melon.
- 11. Use a melon baller (a small, spherical spoon) to scoop out 12 equal balls from the melon.
- 12. Set the melon balls aside.
- 13. Cut the remaining melon flesh into rough chunks.
- 14. Place the melon chunks, the prepared cherry tomatoes, and the chopped chili into a blender.
- 15. Blend the ingredients into a smooth soup.
- 16. Season the soup with sugar, lemon juice, and salt to taste.
- 17. Wash the basil.
- 18. Shake the basil dry.
- 19. Chop the basil finely.
- 20. Distribute the melon balls, the chopped basil, and a few ice cubes into small bowls.
- 21. Pour the cold soup over the ingredients in the bowls.
- 22. Serve the soup immediately.
