🥤 Refreshing Melon Rum Drink

Ingredients
- 0.5 honeydew melon
- 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 5 tbsp white rum
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 tbsp crushed ice
- 50 ml cold water
- lemon balm leaf
- 2 cocktail skewers
Instructions
- 1. Remove the seeds and the rind from the melon.
- 2. Cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces.
- 3. Set aside four small melon pieces for garnish.
- 4. Place the remaining melon pieces into a blender.
- 5. Add rum and honey.
- 6. Add crushed ice and cold water to the blender.
- 7. Blend the ingredients until a smooth, fine mixture forms.
- 8. Pour the mixture through a sieve to remove any coarse particles.
- 9. Stir the ginger into the strained liquid.
- 10. Pour the drink into two glasses.
- 11. Thread two of the reserved melon pieces onto a toothpick or skewer for each glass.
- 12. Place the melon skewers over the rim of the glasses.
- 13. Garnish the glasses with fresh lemon balm.
- 14. Serve the drink immediately while cold.
