  2. 2. Pat the figs dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut each fig in half lengthwise.
  4. 4. Cut the honeydew melon in half.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds from the inside of the melon halves.
  6. 6. Cut the melon into thick wedges.
  7. 7. Carefully separate the melon wedges from the green rind.
  8. 8. Arrange the fig halves, melon wedges, and slices of Parma ham attractively on a plate.
  9. 9. Sprinkle freshly ground pepper over the dish.
  10. 10. Serve the melon immediately.
