  1. 1. Wash the melon under running water and then pat it dry with a cloth.
  2. 2. Carve a decorative pattern into the melon's rind.
  3. 3. Cut off the top part of the melon at a distance of about 3 cm.
  4. 4. Cut the bottom of the melon slightly flat so that it stands stably on the work surface.
  5. 5. Carefully separate the flesh from the rind and remove the seeds without damaging the rind.
  6. 6. Weigh out 100 grams of the fruit flesh.
  7. 7. Cut the weighed fruit flesh and the remaining fruits into small pieces.
  8. 8. Fill the cut fruits back into the hollowed-out melon rind.
  9. 9. Place the filled melon in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  10. 10. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil in a pot.
  11. 11. Add rock sugar and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  12. 12. Pour the hot sugar water into a bowl and let it cool.
  13. 13. Pour the cooled sugar water into the melon until you have reached the desired amount.
  14. 14. Place the cut-off lid back on the melon.
  15. 15. Now serve the melon.
