🍽️ Swiss-style toasted flour soup

Ingredients
- 3 Carrots
- 1 Onion
- 40 g Butter
- 6 tbsp Flour
- 1.25 l Meat Broth
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Peel the carrots and the onion.
- 2. Cut the carrots, the onion, and the toast bread (without crust) into small cubes.
- 3. Melt the butter in a pot.
- 4. Fry the bread cubes until golden brown.
- 5. Add the onion and carrot cubes and fry them briefly.
- 6. Dust everything with the flour and let it take on color briefly.
- 7. Deglaze with the broth and stir vigorously to prevent lumps from forming.
- 8. Let the soup simmer at medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 9. Season the soup with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- 10. Serve the soup in pre-warmed soup plates.
