🍽️ Crunchy Seafood in Mussel Shells

Ingredients
- 4 Scallops (kitchen-ready with mussel shell)
- 100 g Shrimp (kitchen-ready)
- 100 g Squid rings
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Noilly Prat
- Sea salt
- white pepper
- 75 g Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (e.g. dill and parsley)
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the grill function of your oven and preheat it to 220 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Rinse the scallops, shrimp, and squid rings under running water.
- 3. Then carefully pat the seafood dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Roughly chop the scallops, shrimp, and squid rings together.
- 5. Place the chopped seafood mixture into a bowl.
- 6. Add the lemon juice, one tablespoon of olive oil, and Noilly Prat (a dry vermouth wine).
- 7. Mix everything well so that the seafood is evenly marinated.
- 8. Take the eight cleaned mussel shells.
- 9. Distribute the marinated seafood evenly over the mussel shells.
- 10. Place the remaining breadcrumbs into a small bowl.
- 11. Add the remaining olive oil and the chopped herbs to the breadcrumbs.
- 12. Mix the breadcrumbs with the oil and herbs until they are moist.
- 13. Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the seafood in the shells.
- 14. Place the shells under the preheated hot grill.
- 15. Bake the gratins for about 10 minutes until the surface is golden brown and crispy.
- 16. Serve the finished seafood garnished with fresh lemon slices as desired.
