🍝 Seafood Spaghetti

Ingredients
- 4 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 handful roughly chopped basil
- olive oil
- 200 large prawns (deveined and peeled except for the tail segment)
- 200 g monkfish fillet
- 400 g mussels
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 150 ml dry white wine
- 100 g peas (frozen)
- 400 g spaghetti
- salt
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (parsley and basil)
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp and monkfish under cold water.
- 2. Pat the seafood dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the monkfish into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Wash the mussels thoroughly.
- 5. Remove any mussels with damaged shells.
- 6. Discard any mussels that are already open.
- 7. Wash the tomatoes.
- 8. Cut out the hard stem ends from the tomatoes.
- 9. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
- 10. Peel the onion.
- 11. Peel the garlic.
- 12. Finely chop the onion.
- 13. Finely chop the garlic.
- 14. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 15. Sauté the onions and garlic in the hot oil.
- 16. Cook the vegetables until they are soft and translucent.
- 17. Deglaze the vegetables with the wine.
- 18. Add the tomato cubes to the pan.
- 19. Add the peas to the pan.
- 20. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 21. Cook the spaghetti in salted water.
- 22. Cook the pasta until it is al dente (firm to the bite).
- 23. Add the mussels to the pot with the sauce.
- 24. Add the shrimp to the pot.
- 25. Add the monkfish to the pot.
- 26. Add the herbs to the pot.
- 27. Season the dish with salt.
- 28. Season the dish with pepper.
- 29. Place a lid on the pot.
- 30. Let everything cook over low heat.
- 31. Cook the dish for another 5 minutes.
- 32. Drain the pasta.
- 33. Fold in the drained pasta under the sauce.
- 34. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
- 35. Serve the dish on shallow plates.
- 36. Grate the Parmesan.
- 37. Sprinkle the dish with the grated Parmesan.
- 38. Pick the fresh basil.
- 39. Sprinkle the dish with the fresh basil.
- 40. Drizzle a few drops of olive oil over the dish.
