🍕 Seafood Pizza

Ingredients
- 20 g yeast
- 400 g flour
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 level tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- Topping
- 400 g chunky tomatoes (from a can)
- 2 chili peppers (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 g seafood cleaned and ready to cook (e.g. mussels, Venus clams, squid rings)
- 2 tbsp oregano (chopped)
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper from a grinder
Instructions
- 1. Combine flour, yeast, oil, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- 2. Pour in about 250 ml of lukewarm water.
- 3. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 4. Cover the dough and place it in a warm spot away from drafts.
- 5. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
- 6. Knead the dough once more.
- 7. Let it rise again for 30 to 40 minutes.
- 8. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 9. Dust your work surface generously with flour.
- 10. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls.
- 11. Roll out each ball thinly using a rolling pin.
- 12. Place the dough bases on the prepared tray.
- 13. Press the bases flat with your hands.
- 14. Leave the edge slightly thicker than the center.
- 15. Brush the bases with a little olive oil.
- 16. Distribute the chopped tomatoes evenly over the dough.
- 17. Season with salt and plenty of pepper.
- 18. Peel the garlic.
- 19. Finely chop the garlic.
- 20. Mix the garlic with chili.
- 21. Add the mussel halves.
- 22. Add the remaining seafood.
- 23. Sprinkle oregano over the mixture.
- 24. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
- 25. Distribute the seafood mixture over the pizzas.
- 26. Drizzle everything with a little oil.
- 27. Preheat the oven to 220°C (top and bottom heat).
- 28. Bake the pizzas for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
