🍽️ Lamb Burgers with Feta, Dried Tomatoes and Olives

Ingredients
- 1 stale roll
- 400 g lamb mince
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 onion
- oil (for frying)
- 4 rolls
- 1 handful leaf lettuce (e.g. arugula)
- 50 g dried tomatoes (preserved in oil)
- 50 g black olives (pitted)
- 50 g feta
Instructions
- 1. Soak the stale bun in lukewarm water.
- 2. Squeeze the bun well to remove excess water.
- 3. Mix the squeezed bun with the lamb mince, the egg, the chopped garlic, and the thyme.
- 4. Add breadcrumbs if necessary so that the mixture is easy to shape.
- 5. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
- 6. Shape four patties from the mixture.
- 7. Fry the patties in hot oil for two to three minutes on each side.
- 8. Peel the onion and cut it into strips.
- 9. Add the onion strips to the burgers in the pan.
- 10. Cook the onions along with the burgers until they are browned.
- 11. Halve the buns.
- 12. Toast the cut sides of the buns in another pan if desired.
- 13. Wash the salad.
- 14. Remove the tough stems from the salad.
- 15. Tear the salad into small pieces.
- 16. Chop the dried tomatoes and the olives.
- 17. Crumble the sheep's milk cheese (Feta) into small pieces.
- 18. Place the cooked burgers on the buns.
- 19. Top the burgers with the chopped tomatoes, the olives, the feta, and the salad.
- 20. Add the fried onions and the bun lid on top.
- 21. Serve the burgers.
