🍽️ Potato Mouse with Quark Dip

Ingredients
- 4 firm-boiling potatoes (approx. 150 g each)
- salt
- 1 radish
- 1 stalk chives
- 250 g quark
- 100 g yogurt
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- pepper
- 8 peppercorns
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Place the potatoes in salted water and boil them for about 25 minutes until tender.
- 3. Wash the radishes and remove the stems.
- 4. Cut the radishes in half lengthwise.
- 5. Slice each radish half into four thin pieces to get eight ears in total.
- 6. Cut the chive stalks into pieces about 2 centimeters long for the whiskers.
- 7. Mix the quark with the yogurt.
- 8. Cut the remaining chives into fine rings and set them aside.
- 9. Stir the chive rings into the quark-yogurt mixture.
- 10. Season the quark mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 11. Place a dollop of the quark mixture on a plate.
- 12. Drain the boiled potatoes well.
- 13. Place a drained potato on top of the quark dollop.
- 14. Add a bit of quark to the top of the potato for the nose.
- 15. Insert two peppercorns into the quark for the eyes.
- 16. Insert the chive pieces into the quark for the whiskers.
- 17. Make two shallow cuts into the top of the potato.
- 18. Insert the radish slices into the cuts for the ears.
- 19. Serve the remaining quark separately on the plate.
- 20. Serve the mouse with cheese and salad as desired.
