🍽️ Crunchy Marzipan Rings

Ingredients
- 150 g Butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 100 g Marzipan base
- 3 Eggs (size M)
- 250 g Flour
- 50 g Almond kernels
- 100 g Apricot jam
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter, sugar, and marzipan with a hand mixer for two minutes until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
- 2. Add the eggs one by one and mix each one in well.
- 3. Gently fold the flour and ground almonds into the dough using a spoon.
- 4. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 5. Fill the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
- 6. Pipe small rings with a diameter of about six centimeters onto the sheet.
- 7. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 15 minutes.
- 8. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool completely.
- 9. Warm the jam in a small saucepan.
- 10. Spread the bottom of half of the cooled cookies with the warm jam.
- 11. Press the remaining cookies on top so that two cookies stick together.
- 12. Let the rings dry.
- 13. Dust the finished rings with powdered sugar at the end.
