  1. 1. Mix flour, ground nuts, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  2. 2. Mound the mixture on your work surface.
  3. 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mound.
  4. 4. Crack the egg into the well.
  5. 5. Place the butter in small pieces around the egg.
  6. 6. Knead all ingredients quickly into a smooth dough.
  7. 7. Shape the dough into a ball.
  8. 8. Wrap the ball in cling film.
  9. 9. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  11. 11. Lightly flour your work surface.
  12. 12. Roll out the dough to about 0.3 cm thickness.
  13. 13. Cut heart shapes from the dough.
  14. 14. Place the hearts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  15. 15. Bake the hearts in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  16. 16. Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  17. 17. Carefully lift the hearts from the sheet using the baking paper.
  18. 18. Let the hearts cool down completely.
  19. 19. Coat half of the cooled hearts with chocolate.
  20. 20. Press half a walnut into the chocolate.
  21. 21. Let the chocolate dry in the air.
  22. 22. Heat the milk in a pot.
  23. 23. Remove the pot from the heat.
  24. 24. Crumble the marzipan into the warm milk.
  25. 25. Stir the mixture until it is creamy and smooth.
  26. 26. Let the marzipan cream cool down.
  27. 27. Mix the cooled cream with the liqueur.
  28. 28. Fill the cream into a piping bag with a plain tip.
  29. 29. Spread the marzipan cream onto the remaining cookies.
  30. 30. Cover the cream-topped cookies with the chocolate hearts.
  31. 31. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice to form a glaze.
  32. 32. Decorate the hearts with the lemon glaze.
  33. 33. Let the glaze dry.
  34. 34. Serve the finished hearts.
