🍽️ Marzipan Nougat Rolls with Pistachios

Ingredients
- 150 g dark nougat
- 250 g marzipan base
- 50 ml orange liqueur
- 80 g powdered sugar
- powdered sugar (for working)
- 100 g chopped pistachio kernels
- colorful foil for candy (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Divide the nougat into two equal portions.
- 2. Shape each nougat portion into a long roll that is 20 centimeters long and 1.5 centimeters thick.
- 3. Add 2 tablespoons of liqueur and the powdered sugar to the marzipan paste.
- 4. Knead the marzipan mixture well until everything is evenly combined.
- 5. Divide the marzipan mixture into two equal parts.
- 6. Lightly dust a work surface with powdered sugar.
- 7. Roll out each marzipan portion into a flat rectangle that is approximately 6 centimeters wide and 20 centimeters long.
- 8. Brush the surface of the marzipan rectangles thinly with liqueur.
- 9. Place one of the nougat rolls onto a marzipan rectangle.
- 10. Roll the marzipan paste tightly around the nougat roll.
- 11. Press the seam of the marzipan roll firmly until it is no longer visible.
- 12. Repeat steps 9 to 11 with the second marzipan portion and the second nougat roll.
- 13. Brush the outside of the finished marzipan nougat rolls thinly with liqueur.
- 14. Roll the rolls in the chopped pistachios until they are completely covered.
- 15. Cut the rolls into pieces approximately 2 centimeters thick.
- 16. Dust the finished discs with powdered sugar to taste.
