  4. 4. Let the batter rest in a quiet place for about 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Heat one teaspoon of butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Pour a small ladle of batter into the hot pan.
  7. 7. Cook the pancake for about 1 to 2 minutes on the first side until golden brown.
  8. 8. Flip the pancake and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes on the other side until golden brown.
  9. 9. Place the finished pancake in the preheated oven to keep it warm.
  10. 10. Set the oven temperature to 80 degrees Celsius.
  11. 11. If your oven has a fan setting, set it to 60 degrees Celsius.
  12. 12. If you are using a gas oven, set it to the lowest setting.
  13. 13. Repeat the process with the remaining butter and batter.
  14. 14. Bake a total of 8 pancakes.
  15. 15. Take the pancakes out of the oven.
  16. 16. Place a dollop of jam on each pancake.
  17. 17. Sprinkle with a little sugar if desired.
